Owl Central is excited to announce a brand new event design, the Commander Build-a-Thon! This special event is all about showing your creativity and unique spin on a Preconstructed Commander Deck! Each player will purchase one Preconstructed Commander deck, and will be allowed to modify the deck with up to 15 cards of their choice.
Both the preconstructed deck and the 15 cards must be purchased or picked up from Owl on the day of the event. Players are encouraged to make their purchases starting the week before the event, but may only pick them up the morning of the event.
The reason we are structuring it this way is to ensure that all Preconstructed decks are unmodified prior to the event, and all players are only putting in between 0 and 15 cards.
Since the structure of the event is unique, doors will open at noon, but players will not be podded until 2:00pm. This 2 hour period will be used to purchase your decks, cards, modify, and sleeve up your Commander deck. Players will be officially podded once, but encouraged to stick around and play afterwards!
Not only is this the perfect opportunity to show off your unique ideas, but we will also be giving away promos! We have a ton of promos we never had the chance to give out, and we want you to have them!
