Our Spring 2024 Ladder League has kicked off for our Warhammer 40k community! This league runs from now until Tuesday, May 14th and can be joined at any time. Check out these weekly updates so you can follow along with all the action!
Warhammer 40k Ladder League: Weekly Report
Week 5 Update
Another crazy week of our Owl Central 40K Ladder League, with lots of lower ranked players taking wins, and switching places, and yet another battle for the top spot! The Vlka Fenryka showed the Adeptus Custodes why THEY are the Emperors executions, Some players harnessed their inner Pacific Rim with big robots fighting big monsters, and our top table had the speed of the White Scars chapter of Space Marines facing off against a horde of Traitor Guard!
While the White Scars fought hard for The Emperor, with bikes and plasma bolts in spades, the brute toughness of Ogryn absorbed the bulk of the aggression. In the end, the sheer numbers from the traitor force overwhelmed the Space Marines in a bloody battle of attrition, and won the day, holding the battlefield for Chaos, and the top spot for James! Maybe next week the light of The Emperor will shine on our ladder, and Chaos will fall…. Or maybe not. We’ll find out next Tuesday! See you on the battlefield!
Week 3 Update
This Week’s Ladder League update is all about DOGS!!! In a week that was about as volatile as this league gets, it was a night for the UNDERDOG. In all but 1 match, the lower ranked of the 2 players won. It just goes to show that anyone has a shot to make it to the top of this League.
Speaking of the top of this league, Space DOGS are still the TOP DOGS! Alex and his Space Wolves send Dan and his Adeptus Custodes tumbling to the bottom of the ladder. Will anyone be able to topple the The Wolf King? Who will be the next to take a shot at the throne? We’ll find out next week!

Week 2 Update
The second week of our Warhammer 40k Ladder League was a busy one, with 10 out of our 12 competitors hitting the battlefield. Some Highlights include Chad and his Tyranids winning the battle of the Xenos, taking out Scha and his Orks, and Dan’s Custodes beating out James’ Chaos Space Marines. This not only secures a glorious win for the Imperium, but locked Dan into 2nd place on our Ladder. Not one to rest on his laurels, Dan has already thrown down the gauntlet, and will battle Alex and his Space Wolves for first place next week! Will Dan be able to unseat the champion, or will the Vlka Fenryka send another challenger plummeting to the bottom of the ladder? We’ll find out when dice hit the table next Tuesday!
