Format: Two-Headed Hydra
Event Structure:
Join Owl Central Games as we try out Lorcana’s 2v2 format, Two-Headed Hydra! Players will sign up as a team and can coordinate decks well in advance.
This tournament will have a number of rounds determined by the number of teams (9+ teams will play 4 rounds, otherwise there will be 3 rounds). Each round will be a best of one with overtime rules as normal.
Addition rules for Two-Headed Hydra are as follows:
- Teammates cannot share ink colors
- Each 2-player team takes their turns simultaneously
- Teams do not share any resources, and any effect referring to “you” only applies to the individual playing the card or triggering the effect
- Effects referring to “each opponent” or “each player” affect each player individually
- A team wins when the players on that team have a total of 40 Lore
- The team that goes first must be determined prior to drawing starting hands, and both players of the team that goes first skips their first draw step.
- All players perform mulligans as normal, and teammates can share hand information and discuss their turn order together.

Prizing:
Players will receive prizing based on their number of wins at the end of the tournament. For each win, each PLAYER will receive 2 booster packs. Any player who hasn’t tallied any wins will also receive 2 booster packs just for playing.
