This past Saturday was the return of our Pauper 500! It was a blast with both Owl regulars, local tournament grinders, and hometown heroes, showing up with their best decks and ready to take on the competition. After many weeks of Pauper Friday Night Magic events and members organizing test sessions in our Discord, the day had finally came. After 5 rounds of close Magic action, we had our diverse Top 8, featuring eight completely different decks!
In the end, it was combo vs combo in the Finals where we had our 7th and 8th seeded players face off for it all. In the end, our Walls Combo aficionado, Bee, took down our Elves newcomer, Gavin, to claim the top step of the podium! Thanks to everyone that showed up to make the day so awesome!
